Award win at Aberdeenshire Architectural & Landscape Design Awards 2020

Scotia Homes are delighted to announce they are a category winner in the Aberdeenshire Architectural and Landscape Design Awards 2020.

The Aberdeenshire Architectural and Landscape Design Awards, now in its 12th year, takes place every 2 years and celebrates architecture and landscape design projects throughout Aberdeenshire. This year, His Royal Highness Prince Charles The Duke of Rothesay introduced the awards ceremony remotely and announced The Fife Arms Hotel, in Braemar, as the recipient of the Ian Shepherd Award.

In total, there were 7 category winners and one overall winner. Scotia Homes received a commended award in the Building Communities for the Future category for Foveran Village located in Foveran. This particular category celebrates residential developments.

Foveran Village was praised for how the development blended well within the rural landscape whilst promoting a positive reinterpretation of traditional cottage style housing. Moreover, the judges appreciated the contemporary designs; layout and spacious gardens.
